First Bag
so this is the first heavy bag i've bought and it's great! I have to say it's really nice and a great weight to start. I am personally training to box and it is great to use and even lift with sometimes. I love everything except for two very minor gripes with the bag.First: The stitching isn't complete on the top of the bag for mine at least which if beaten the right way for a long enough single exposure an lead to some of the stuffing coming out of the bag, but i placed tape over top and it's fixed!Second: The stuffing in the bag sinks to the bottom so there are some inconsistencies when punching the top of the bag as opposed to the bottom. Not a huge deal just a little awkward at first.Overall this is a great package and the price is almost unbeatable i highly recommend this package!(P.S.) I highly advice getting everything to hang the bag as well.

There are several good aspects of this, the most important being: it does what it's supposed to do. I use it for my 80lb bag without any problems.getting the small ticks out of the way:There were only two downsides, one being it didn't come with instructions, and two being it was missing one tiny washer- a 10 cent fix from home depot... but I think I bought a returned item which is why it was missing some pieces, either way you can look up the install guide online... just google "Everlast Punching Bag Stand Install guide" and its the first thing that pops up.the good:first off, I'm pretty tall. 6'1'' and this stand is also quite tall... like, blocking the ceiling fan tall. Wasn't really an issue, as I put it in the corner where the back support bar (the main bar in the middle) touches the corner of the wall. A corner is nice because it limits movement of the stand, you can prop one heavy weight or even a regular dumbell on the middle bar and unless...

This Bag Stand is worth your money!!
I purchased this Dual Station Heavy Bag Stand 6 months ago and it is holding up real well. I added some weights for stability and it allows me to workout the heavybag and get an awesome cardio workout. I also love the speed bag attachement. I came out of surgery not able to move very far at one time. I have been looking for "STUFF" that will help me stay in shape. I found the "FITNESS PUNCH & PLAY BOXING SET" and it was just what I needed. I can sit in my recliner, with my feet pressed on the bottom of the punching bag; and punch, poke, strike with my fist, or throw a quick blow with my elbow. I wanted to buy this for my husband for xmas and I thought it was an adult size and it's really a childrens size, it didn't really indicate that on amazon. Although we got it and we were able to put it as high as we could, all of the children that come to the house love it, lol. We really don't use it much anymore but it's fun to have around if you are having company and if you have a young child 7yrs old and up

This set is a fantastic set especially for the price it works great and ive been sparring with these for a few weeks now they hold up great just be careful of getting scratched by the Velcro and i wish they were insulated a little better.WARNING do not buy this product from MotoBuys when i went to buy a second set they sent me the wrong product which is actually a 20 dollar set, instead buy this from life gears it costs 15 more dollars but you will get what you ordered and its well worth the price, again great product but motobuys advertises the same thing and sends you a chepo set instead, the moto buys set has the same image of the product and even the same product name and description but its not what they send you be careful

Works for me!
I saw a few complaints about adjusting the length of this rope. However, I had no issues pulling the caps off the end of the handles and did so by hand. Then I measured the length I needed - to measure a jump rope correctly, stand on the middle of the rope with both feet. The ends should come up to your armpits. There were two extra crimp bands included, so I just cut off the extra length, used a pair of small pliers to crimp the new band in place, and put the cap back on. I recommend you use a rubber band wrapped around where you think you need the crimp band first, try jumping with it for a few rotations, then put the crimp band on where the rubber band was. Too easy.

Yes, another problem on the adjustment.
Yes, it's a decent speed rope for the money and yes, it's extremely frustrating to adjust. For me, the problem wasn't so much in getting the metal cap off (easily done with a simple, sturdy flathead screwdriver pinned in the center of the tab) nor was it in actually adjusting the length of the rope. The problem was in getting the tab back in the handle. The cylindrical metal tab has to be snug in the handle lest it fly off during your excercise, but OH MYYY!!!, getting it back in requires an incredible and equal amount of pressure on all sides at the same time. I spent almost an hour before I finally got lucky and was able to push it back in. Good luck!!As for the review concerning knots, I can see how they might prove to be cumbersome with the hindering of the motion of the rope. However, I'm not sure why anyone would want to tie knots in the first place. Just cut away the excess rope.Now that my frustration is gone and my rope is fixed, it does a great...

not easily adjustable
I have to agree with the other reviewers here- it's a great speed rope, but it's not easily adjustable. You have to remove a cap, tie a knot around the ends, then slide it back in. Fortunately, I'm 6'1", so I didn't need to adjust the rope! Not long enough for people taller than 6'3" in my opinion.
